Introducing...Lola

I just wanted to share a few pictures of our new puppy. Her name is Lola and she is a Maltese poodle, she is 10 weeks old (just a baby). She is the cutest thing ever! She is so sweet, but with a little bit of a wild streak. She loves to play and give kisses. I love her so much already and can't imagine my life without this little pup and let me tell you, she is one spoiled rotten puppy! We wanted to get her now, that way when we do have a baby, she will be trained. I think she is going to make a perfect family dog! Welcome to the family Lola!

I'm Alive!

Howdy! It's been a little while since I have last blogged (okay maybe more like a long while, 3 months to be exact). Its been a crazy last three months. Lots of stuff has happened...people getting engaged, new babies, babies to come, birthdays, graduations to come, weddings to come..life just continuing to go on. I wish I had a pause button, the last couple of weeks have been somewhat hectic and a time or two I wished that I could just press that button and stop everything (wouldn't that be nice). I still cant believe that we are in the month of may, it has gone by way to fast, wouldn't you say?

Well I just wanted to post a quick note and say that I'm still here, still alive. No babies yet, (no worries fellow bloggers you will be one of the first to know when that happens) although, we might get a new puppy. She is a white maltipoo with brown ears and she's so cute. She is the smallest one out of her sisters, she's tiny, but let me tell you she is a feisty one. I've been thinking of names for the little runt, so far I've got Lola....do you guys have any suggestions?

26 Random Things on my 26th Birthday!

It's my birthday today and I must say that so far it's been GREAT! People have gone out of their way to make it extra special and I am just so thankful today. I feel very special and loved today. I thank God for friends and loved ones. I also thank God for allowing me to live another year!

Here are 26 random things that you may or may not know about me...

1. I love cheeseburgers!
2. I don't like papaya, yuk!
3. Growing up I always wanted to be a teacher.
4. I am no longer afraid of the dark, in fact I need it pitch black when I go to sleep.
5. I don't know how to dive into a pool.
6. I am afraid of mice and rats!
7. I prefer to wear wedge shoes, very comfy.
8. I love kids, in fact, we are planning on starting a family this year (and when that happens I will inform all my blogging peeps).
9. I love to read people's blog and sometimes....well OK...most of the time I don't leave a comment. YIKERS I KNOW! :( I am trying to change that this year!
10. I have definitely come out of my shell this year and I am loving it!
11. I love chocolate, any thing chocolate! Which btw, who doesn't?
12. Lets see...(sheesh only at twelve)...oh I know, I voted for the first time this past year! Very proud to be an American.
13. I love music! Pretty much all kind.
14. I am going to get a new dog this year...so excited!
15. I LOVE Facebook! Most of my time is spent there, sorry Blogger.
16. Almost there....ummm...I really want to buy a beach cruiser this year.
17. I have made new friends this year.
18. I am only 4 years away from turning 30...getting kind of scary...
19. I love my husband more than anything else on this world (well beside JESUS of course, HE is #1).
20. Family always comes first! Don't know what I would do without my family. Love, Love, LOVE them!
21. I have a sudden craving of salted crackers and caramel and it wont go away.
22. I LOVE ice cream, pretty much can eat it any time of the day.
23. I love candy! (What can I say, I'm a big kid at heart!)
24. I have learned to be content...(not as easy thing).
25. I think more than ever before, I am so thankful to have a personal relationship with GOD. I am so thankful that I live for HIM. He is always there. I am humbled over and over by HIS presence and I am reminded that I would be nothing without HIM in my life! I love HIM!
26. I am actually looking forward to this year and can't wait to see what 2009 will bring.

Happy B-day to me!

The end of January already?!?!

WOW! I can't believe that it is already January 30, 2009! I must say that this month has flown by - wowzers! I'm kind of bummed that I didn't get to blog about Christmas, New Years or for the matter...I didn't blog about anything! What is wrong with me, where have I been...?

Last year was a ruff year on all accounts, I won't go into details, but I guess you can say I went into hibernation mode. Didn't want to talk to anyone, hang out with anyone and certainly did not want to blog. BUT, here I am, with all that put behind me. I was so excited to start the New Year and so ready to leave 2008 behind. (Can anyone else relate?) A lot of exciting things have already transpired (which I will share in another post) and I'm so excited to see what is happening in my life. I am so thankful...God has been so good to me and my husband! I have learned so much and I can't stop saying how thankful I am. Isn't He an awesome God! I love HIM more today than I did last year.

Great things are coming this year - for everyone! 2009 will be our greatest year yet! Get ready 2009 because here we come! :-)
